Topic: The charts below give information on the ages of the populations of Yemen and Italy in 2000 and projections for 2050.Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.The pie charts illustrate the proportion of the ages of the populations in two countries, namely Yemen and Italy in 2000 and prediction for 2050. There are three age brackets: 0-14 years group, 15-59 years group an 60+ years group. Overall, the proportion oof the ages between 0 and 14 years tend to decrease in Yeman and Italy from 2000 to 2050. In contrast, people who are between 60 or over years old will have an increase. In comparision, the ages between 15 and 59 years have diffirent tendency in both countries in 2000 and 2050. In the year 2000, Yemen had 50,1% population which had the ages between 0 and 14 years. Italy had 14,3% population in this age bracket. After five decade, the population in 0-14 years group is predicted to fall in Yemen and Italy, to 37% and 11,5% respectively. In contrast, it will have an increase in the 60 or over age bracket in 2050 in both countries. It will go up but still is the smallest segment in Yemen. And the 60+ age bracket will experience a more than double increase in Italy. In 2000, the 15-59 age bracket was 46,3% in Yemen and was 61,6% in Italy. After five decade, the porportion of the 15-59 age bracket is predicted to rise by 11% in Yemen and to fall by 15,4% in Italy.

The pie charts illustrate (wrong word) the proportion of the ages (wrong expression) of the populations in two countries, namely Yemen and Italy in 2000 and the prediction for 2050. There are three age brackets: 0-14 years group, 15-59 years group an (wrong word) 60+ years group.

Model paragraph.

The four pie charts show population broken down by age group. Two of the charts are for Italy, and two are for Yemen. For each country, there is one chart for the current situation in the year 2000, and one for a projection in the year 2050. Only three age groups are shown: children of ages up to 14, seniors over 60 years old and the remainder, adults between 15 and 59.

Note: The age groups are named in the first paragraph, so they can be referred to as "children", "seniors" and "adults' in the body paragraphs. This avoids having to write very cumbersome, awkward and repetitive phrases with the age ranges.

For example:

The proportion of children in both countries is expected to decrease, dramatically in Yemen and marginally in Italy. The opposite trend is for the seniors; their percentages are expected to nearly double in Italy and approach half half of the total, but in Yemen remain at a relatively small proportion.
