Topic: The table below gives information about the value (NZ$) of exports of kiwi fruit from New Zealand to five countries between 2010 and 2012.
My task 1:
The table compares the value of exports of kiwi fruit from New Zealand to Japan, China, Mexico, Russia and Saudi Arabia over a three-year period.
Overall, there was an increase in the values of exports of kiwi fruit to Japan, China and Russia; while the opposite was true for Saudi Arabia and Mexico, which experienced a decrease.
Japan had the highest values of kiwi fruit exports over a three-year period. From 2010 to 2012, this figure rocketed and ranked top at the end, with NZ$ 325,300,000. Saudi Arabia showed the lowest values of kiwi fruit, with its initial figure was NZ$ 290,000. After a slight increase in 2011, the figure of Saudi Arabia fell to NZ$ 82,000 in 2012.
In 2010, the figures were recorded in China, Mexico, Russia, which were NZ$ 74,900,000, NZ$ 6,000,000 and NZ$ 968,000 respectively. Between 2010 and 2012, the value of exports of kiwi fruit to China and Russia increased at NZ$94,000,000 and NZ$2,404,000 respectively, while the opposite was true for Mexico, which reached NZ$ 3,300,000 at the end.
