Topic: Some children think that parents should teach children how to be good members of society. Others, however, believe that school is the place to learn this.

Discuss both these view and give your own opinion.

My essay:

Parents and the school have many effects on children. They are the first people to give children a first view of the world. In my opinion, not only parents and school but also another relationship and experiment about life can help children to become mature and good members of society.

Parents have been closest people with their children since they were born. According to a recent survey, children can imitate their parents. For example, when parents often read books, children will have to be curious and interested in books. On the other hands, if parents have many bad habits, children maybe have bad effects. For instance, if the father is alcohol addicted, children can drink alcohol when they are too young. It can affect health, brain, and mentality. Parents have an important role to teach children how to be good members of society.

School is the best place where children can learn a lot of things and make new friends. Teachers, professors teach them many subjects. They give children science views about life when they teach Maths, Physical or Chemistry. They help them to gain knowledge. Especially, children can find their favorite things and plan for their life. Moreover, friends can have many effects. Good friends give them many motivations to make dreams to be true. They are there for them at their worst. But bad friends are on the contrary. Children need to get far away from them. A school is a special place where children will have a lot of the first experiment in life.

In my view, not only parents and school but also the experiment and more different relationship will contribute a mature person. For example, when children start to work, to practice their knowledge, they have to face the losing and winning concept. Children will have a lot of life lesson. They can learn about how to be stronger to pass the difficulties. They understand other people and are sympathetic.

In conclusion, children need to learn a lot of things if they want to become good members of society. Parents, the school have many effects and help them in their life. Children need to try hard for a better life.
