My essay:
It is well-known fact that in some developed countries, the real happiness of people, especially young people is lacking although they are filled with money, health and longer lives. In my opinion, this is due to social media and the solution is that education and encouragement to young people about the way to enjoy their real life.
There are many reasons that lead me to believe that social media is the major factor. Nowadays, many people are addicted to smartphone and lack of communication. This is the case in the developing world in countries such as Vietnam. In the recent years, the number of people who have used smartphone to join social media increases rapidly, irrespective of their age and gender. They tend to chat, talk and update their life through social networking sites, such as Facebook and Instagram rather than meeting in person. Although they can have more opportunities to start - up online or to keep themselves up to date with news and general information, they still are lonely because of lack of care and communication.
Nevertheless, I believe that there are many solutions that can tackle this trend. First, young people can take up a musical instrument. Music is a great tool to reduce temptations around social media, improve mentally and connect people. Second, governments can educate young people about the right way to approach and take advantage of social networking sites through many lessons in the school or many influencers. In Vietnam, many YouTube stats are inspired a lot of young people to enjoy their real life, such as taking part in volunteer organizations.
In conclusion, it is obvious that social media is the main factor that leading to many unhappy citizens. Musical instruments and education become the best ways to address the problems caused by this trend.
