No, the way it stands is not correct. But if you say "I will be going back to my home town", then it is.

If you are in your own country, you may say " going back to my hometown". "Back" is needed to complete the thought. " I will be going my home town..." is not a grammatical sentence. If you are in another country, you need to say "I will be going back to my country to attend .....".
