People have little understanding of the importance of the natural world. What are the reasons for this, and how can people learn more about the natural world?

In the present day, it is argued that people have little perceived the importance of the natural world. From my perspective, it can be caused by some factors and it should be dealt with by some effective solutions.

To begin with, several compelling reasons can be recorded to explain why people nowadays are becoming more and more misunderstanding of the role of the natural world. First, this is the result of globalization. Additionally, the government places too much value on the purpose of upgrading and expanding the infrastructure of the country to promote the development of the economy causing habitat destruction like a dense forest. For example, a significant amount of cultivated land or dense forest is destroyed to broaden the development of highway road in the center of many cities, which is considered as high on the agenda of the government. Second, the education system is concerning too much about theoretical knowledge leading the less practical skill to conserve and develop natural resources such as they have to take action on global warming to reduce the industrial and daily domestic wastes into the environment.

Furthermore, feasible solutions can be taken to tackle this problem. First, the green movement should campaign for the natural resources in many institutions as well as the local community to raise awareness of people about the importance of the natural world. For instance, they can present the current situation of natural resources and thus stimulate people to alleviate environmental problems like spreading posters or banners or broadcast propaganda on online newspapers and social networking sites. Second, the local authorities should be the role model for people to make progress on preserving natural resources. To illustrate this point, they should take into consideration an environmental impact assessment to observe the influence of this on people's lives as well as natural resources surrounding these projects.

In conclusion, it is clear that various reasons why people have a little perception of the importance of the natural world and some measures can be taken to tackle this problem.
