About You and Me Tours
The Young Bawm Association is a group of young people who are committed to serving out our community (Bawm) members in need. This organization has engaged in emergency, societal and other needs and to the well being of society. “You and Me” Tours of Ruma is recognized by the Young Bawm Association (YBA). The local administration has approved each of the “You and Me” Tours guides. These guides are from various ethnic groups and have identity cards for your convenience. They are committed to the satisfaction of your trip in the Hill Tracts. They are also committed to protecting the social and ecological welfare of the hill people. Please help them preserve the natural beauty of this area.
A small portion of each guide’s fees is given as a contribution to the YBA general fund. Tourists are also encouraged to contribute to the YBA as well. This will be a receipted donation at the You and Me Tours office at Ruma.
There is an inexpensive, tribal-style YBA Guest House at Boga Lake that also helps fund YBA. You are welcome to stay there.
We particularly welcome our friends who appreciate the local culture and the natural beauty of the Bandarban Hill Tracts. We hope that you will enjoy your tour!
