Dear Professor,



During my Bachelors, I developed a keen interest in the broad area of Biology. Microbiology was the first course, which introduced me to the area of pure biology. This is a basic level course in which we were familiarized with the basic proof techniques used in pure biology. Further, the courses genetic engineering and molecular Biology during my bachelors have given a flavor of Applied Biology helped me to expand my knowledge in Biology. The interest, which persisted in the field of Biology, has motivated me to choose Microbiology as Major stream in Master studies. These courses have helped me in developing logical and analytical thinking abilities, I had covered a wide range of topics in the various interdisciplinary subjects during masters in India (Please refer my memorandum of marks).



After completion of masters in microbiology from Kakatiya University, I started my career as a junior microbiologist at RK medical diagnostics, finally I worked as business development executive with SRL Ranbaxy laboratories (now super religare laboratories) this company is the south East Asia’s largest pathology laboratory network based in India.



But my aim is “to be a great scientist and contribute my entire life to build the science”. That’s why I travelled to Sweden. Mean while of my previous experience I financially good enough to live in Europe then I took decision to reach my goal. Now I am pursuing masters in molecular medical biology at Orebro University.

Presently I finished the two major courses Scientific Methodology 15 credits & Molecular medicine methodology 15Credits (Transcript is pending), currently running two courses Model systems-15credits & Cancer biology-15Credits






Motivation for Application:

Now this is time for me to choose the very specific subject to begin my degree work and I chosen the “nanotechnology in medical molecular diagnostics” as a theme, I chosen this theme as it gives a direct impact on the patient’s life. I would like to work on the weak areas where the scientific approach will help to resolve the problems of the molecular level diagnostics with respect to the nanotechnology approach. The project “the ultra sensitive fluorescence approaches to the dynamics of life” with great scientist like Prof Lamb will helpful for my career. I will be very glad full to start first step of my goal with Prof Lamb. This project will also helpful for me to do my master thesis of 45 credits which ultimately directs me towards the PhD in the same field.



The innate desire and burning ambition to contribute something new and original to Science, by choosing to specialize in a field of nanotechnology in medical molecular diagnostics which I am interested in, I believe that a comprehensive knowledge and a good grasp of fundamentals are essential for such a career. Therefore I am seeking this opportunity at you. I have compelling reasons to believe that I will be extremely successful both as a Graduate student and later as a researcher.
