Pls check motivation letter for hotel school!
Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Denisova Daria. I am 25 years old and I live in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. I have a diploma in Computer Science in Design.
I enjoy travelling all over various countries. During many years of travelling, both for study and pleasure, I have stayed at a lot of hotels of different categories, so I have personally experienced good and bad customer service. Currently, the main problem is that the hotel industry lacks qualified personnel. I really want to work in hospitality and I would like to contribute to the development of high quality service. Therefore, I need to receive an excellent education in this area.
Unfortunately, my previous degree is not related to the hotel management, but I gained the valuable knowledge and skills to work with various computer programs, as well as databases. Moreover, I have been working for the past 4 years for the local municipality, so I had experience in organizing some social events, including international ones.
Furthermore, I have a learning experience in an international environment. I studied for half a year at language school in Cambridge, England. As a result, I can get along with different people easily.
At this moment, I am working at Courtyard St.Petersburg Center West Pushkin Hotel of Marriott hotel chain as a Front Desk Clerk. I am planning to do some work in each department of hotel, so I may have the opportunity to build a career in hotel management later.

Switzerland is well-known worldwide for its high standards hotels and exceptional service for tourists. Also Switzerland is synonymous with best hotel schools. SHMS's programme combines an intensive academic course with internship. I chose the PGD in Hotel Operations Management at SHMS, because it pays great attention to practical exercises, and I need it due to the fact, that I am changing my career. Besides, internship abroad is just a perfect opportunity to get a unique work experience.
