Pls check for any grammatical mistake

Hi All,

I am writing the below enclosed letter to my boss after a long gap. I am looking for release from my current project and want to re-join my previous boss again. I want to contact him regarding this and want his help to get release from current project.

Pls advise me if there is any grammatical mistake or any suggestion.

I am planning to get release from ***, I wish to discuss with you about availability of any new assignment for me. I am looking for change in my functional responsibilities and work.

I am expecting my promotion in current promotion cycle and I hope it would be done by this month (as first level of recommendation has already been done).

After completion of the promotion process I am wishing for my release to happen. I seek your valuable suggestion and support in this regard.
