Pls can you read and check this letter?

Hello everybody, I have this task:

A friend of yours is doing an interior design course at college and you have the same sort of taste. You have decided to redecorate your bedoroom and you saved from money to spend on it. Write a letter to your friend asking for her advice.

Can you please read my letter and tell me what do you think about? Is it written good?

Dear Angy,

How are you? I hope you are very well!

I'm writing to you to ask for your advice: I'm thinking of redecorating my room, and beyond the shadow of a doubt you are the perfect person who can serve my purpose, as you’re studying to become an interior designer.....so you know your stuff!. Furthermore, we have the same taste!

As you know, my room is the same since I was a teenager, so it’s time to change it!! I'm very interested in feng-shui... have you ever heard of it? It combines harmony and gets a balance of the 5 elements. I long for a room that mirrors my inner mood, which you can feel peace in, imbued with a cosy atmosphere.

Just a detail: my budget hovers around 2000 Euros. I don’t care about buying old stuffs, provided that they are as sound as a bell!

If only you could come and visit me…All would be simpler! How about meeting on Saturday morning? We could draw up this plan together. By the way, please let me know what you think I should do.
