P.L.P.?

There is this oldie by Rickie Lee Jones I just love, Chuck E.'s in love. And then there's this strange acronym I could not get explained searching the Web. Anyone please can tell me exactly what it means?

From Chuck E.'s in love lyrics:

How come he don’t come and p.l.p. with me
Down at the meter no more?

00"When I was in junior high school in 1962, we used "PLP" to mean "Public Leaning Post" -- one person, usually the girl of a couple, would lean affectionately against the other. "Come and p.l.p. with me" in that particular song sounds a little like that might be it...02br
