"Plenty of time"

Can somebody help me understand if saying "though she had put in plenty of overtime" is right! I saw this on an aptitude test and I really want to know if it is correct using "plenty" for "overtime". I know we can still say "plenty of time" but not sure if it can be for "overtime" too.
