Pleasure was all mine

Hi

Is the phrase pleasure is all mine natural in everyday English? Is this little dialogue OK?

(Guest to the host at the time of leaving...)

Guest - It was a lovely evening, thank you.

Host- Well, the pleasure is all mine.

Do we need the before pleasure?

Thanks,

Tom

'the' is necessary, and I've never heard that expression in the U.S. except in movies about very rich people.
