Some people think that museums should be enjoyable places to entertain people, while others believe that the purpose of museums is to educate. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

There are different opinions about the purpose of museums. Some believe that they are places for entertainment, while others think that the main role of museums is to educate people. For me, both opinions are not wrong, museums can and should be both entertaining and educational.

On the one hand, museums are perfect places for people to spend time with their families. They can go around, exhibit a lot of interesting objects like paintings or statues and talk about it with each other. Besides, museums can also have historical movies or mini-games that are attractive to tourists and encourage everyone to participate. After a week of working these kinds of activities will surely reduce the stress and strengthen people relationships.

On the other hand, educating visitors through displaying objects should be the main goal for all museums. People should walk out of the museum with new knowledge, something that they did not know before. Normally, museums provide information in various ways. Some employ professional guides to explain to their visitors the origin of the objects or give out the headset, while others can simply write all the information on a piece of cardboard so anyone curious can read it themselves and learn something new.

In conclusion, museums are suitable for people who want to gain more knowledge. However, they should also be a place where people can enjoy and have fun there with their families and friends. Because of that, I believe every museum should be both educational and entertaining.
