Please Verify the sentences Grammatically

Hi,

This is Rahul ,I am listing few sentences below ,it would be great if experts here can verify if they are correct Grammatically

1)Alex wants to do a lot of things in life but is held back because of him being perennially in
“thinking mode".

2)Alex decides to do things which he has been putting off forever but not before a surreal encounter with his uncle.

3)He plans to invest in stocks but is neither confident about his extensive research and nor does he wants to take help of a financial expert.

4)Though, after a lot of haggling they managed to bring the deposit money down to nine months,(can we use although here or though is ok??)

5)They finally zero in a particular model of the Washing Machine.

6)He starts watching TV while lounging on the bean bag.

1)by "thinking mode", i want to specify a person who thinks too much and doesn't do anything,will it be ok to use this sentence on whole?

After going through WIki regarding Noun concepts,I feel that last sentence should be written as below:-

5) They finally zero in on a particular model of a Front-loading Washing Machine (washing machine is a common noun:denotes a family)

Also,there is another sentence ,I am having few doubts
