I love to run. Running is great exercise, and I run in New York every day. Last spring I wanted to run in the beautiful city of New Orleans. First, I bought train tickets and made hotel reservations for one week. I stayed in a single room at the Royal New Orleans Hotel. There were great places to run. I ran in the wonderful Couturie Forest. I also ran in the French Quarter two times. I saw the old Bank of Louisiana (on Royal Street) and the Beauregard-Keyes House (on Chartres Street) there. I stopped at the Riverwalk Mall and the Old French Market. There are no mountains in New Orleans. You can run, ride a bicycle, or skate very easily. Here are three ideas for your visit: 1. Buy a VisiTour pass. This ticket is good for all of the buses and streetcars. 2. Get a "po-boy" for lunch! They are delicious sandwiches with French bread and meat. 3. Enjoy!
