There is a problem with the office photocopier. There's only one copier for two departments and 40 employees. Employees sometimes wait for half an hour or more to use the copier, and this isn't good. Also, it's old and slow, often breaks, and costs a lot to repair. I think two new copiers (one for each department) is a good idea. Can we talk soon about this?

The second one can either be A) or B). This is a bit ambiguous.

I feel that your first answer is definetely correct. Howerver, the last two sentences are a bit confusing. They say that Mr. Plover wanted to send an e-mail to Jeffer; but Jeffer needed to get it ready before the sales meeting. But blindly going by the text, I feel that the answer is B).
