Hello Khoff,

I had one question regarding the first sentence, your answer actually, the sentence " they are referred to as Ladies' shoes " What is the question to that answer? How would you phrase the question naturally?

What are these shoes referred to as? ????

Not sure it sound or is natural?

Thank you Khoff

That would be the most ordinary way. If you want to use the word "referred," though, you could ask:

How do/would you refer to shoes for women? They are referred to as . . .

(Now it seems awkward to me -- I don't know why I didn't just write "they are usually called 'Ladies' shoes.'")
