This was said on a reality tv show. Could you correct please?

Wben I arrived last time, I was coming with the feeling of gratitude and being very grateful for the gift you and Barry were going to bestow on me on letting me borrow the car, but when I showed up, in one hand I was being handed the keys and being told I need to get my act together.
