Could you tell me how you would correctly say these sentences please?

- It would be more expensive/cost more if you called a cab.

- It really helps with keeping/helps me keep my balance.

- He comes from a rich family./He's of a rich family. (How would you say this?)

- If you don't count the wait/don't take into account the wait, the commute only takes 45 minutes.
