Please take a look at this sentence.

Hi,

I'm a very hands on person and usually the most efficient when I'm physically active, which includes traveling, interpersonal communication, research, anything but stagnancy.

Please correct sentence.

I think stagnancy is probably not the word you want. Perhaps idleness.

I suppose that you can't describe a person as hands-on(is that what you were trying to convey?),

and for the better I think it should be "down-to-earth."
