Nowadays, information are shared easily by a click on computer. Although it is an undeniable advantage, people are wondering whether it should be spread widely without any permission. From my perspective, I believe that we must keep the data confidentially since some of them are vital and valuable.

One the one hand, information in such fields should spread to improve the knowledge of people. It contributes to the better living conditions. Scientific researches could be used to make robots or applicantions that are able to handle tedious or dangerous duties. Those inventions reduce the stress in workplaces and doing household chores. Data and researches in business prevent companies from negatives impacts of recessions. They allow CEOs to orient their longterm strategies as well as maximize the profits. Information in the academic world would be helpful for students as it is often hard to find documents in libraries in some nations. They also have to pay a large amount of money to buy books or acess to researches.

On the other hand, these kinds of data are often confidential as they relate to national problems. Inventions in scientific could pave the way for advanced weapons. A nation will be in danger if the information is leaked. It could be the main reason for wars and conflicts of countries. Furthermore, companies would suffer from a million dollars loss if their plan or trategies are spread to their rivals. Since they often spend a large amount of money on conducting reseaches and collecting datas, sharing information wildely means let other uses their effort for free. This action is considered to be disrespect to inventors toghether with researchers.

In conclusion, being able to share academic information widely could be the ideal way to enrich people knowledge and improve living conditions. However, Spreading data widely without permission of authors should be permitted due to concerns on national security and the economy.
