Wild animals have no place in the 21 st century, so protecting them is a waste of resources. To what extend do you agree or disagree?

Animals’ habitat has been destroying maninly because of human activities. It is urgent to proctect endangered species from disctinction so I completely disagree with the idea that wild animals conservation is wasteful.

Firstly, ecosystem is a balanced system. If we disturb any one element, then all the other elements get interrupted in the entire system. It is essential for us to maintain this balance as it is for our existence and the existence of other living organisms. In addition, humans must be responsible for habitat destruction. People chopped down trees for more crops and urbanization for many years. Deforestation and climate change caused wild animals lose their home and their food resources. Many species are in life- threatening situation and it is our mission to take immediate actions to conserve wild animals as well as protect environment.

Morover, biodiversity protection is human duty as it is for our descending generations. Our world is extremely beautiful with numerous plants, animals and other species. It would be a great sadness if our children could not see how cute a baby elephant is when it plays with a tree trunk and how powerful a lion is when it stalks its prey. Wildlife also plays an important role in improving the economy of the country. Inviting tourists from all across the globe to witness endemic and rare species through their offerings for game safaris and birding tours increases country’s GDP and develop tourism industry. For example, films with kangaroos images brings Australia closer to international friends. As a result, Australia welcomes a great deals of visitors coming every year to satisfy their curiosity for kangaroos.

In conclustion, I believe that the servere consequences human must pay if stopping proctecting wild animals will be significantly higher than the cost we carry for conservation of threatened animals.
