I am applying to the summer research internship because I believe my technological skills will blossom from this program. My keen interest for learning new ideas when combined with my inner desired to reach the degree of excellence in every piece of work I perform, enabled me to acquire significant knowledge on various aspects of technology, as well as leading me through a successful educational career.
During my ages in intermediate college level, I was introduced with the various aspects of electronics and communication’s. I was made known with the concepts of semiconductor’s diodes, gates and simple operation on breadboard which fascinated me towards the electronics evolution. I joined this BE degree course under the government of XX(country) .Being an international student I came up through various difficulties including language barrier and made myself capable student for applying for this internship. After I joined engineering as an XX government sponsored student (Entrance rank-XX). I gained a practical knowledge in electronics field through various internship and project works. I have attended various workshops and training programs such as hands-on-workshop (PCB Fabrication) in XX company, GSM training in XX Telecom (2 weeks), international internship from Robotics and computer application institute of USA, (Robotics using ROBOTc) .Furthermore, I have done project entitled ‘Home Automation System’,’ wireless video surveillance using raspberry pi’, ’Face detection using Matlab’ . The project titled “IP based distributed smart camera system for forest application using FPGA” has published in XX international journal(impact factor -1). I have a good command in software like FPGA tools (e.g. Xilinx ISE), VHDL programming, MATLAB, KEIL, and MODELSIM along with C, C++ and Linux.
My keen interest of research is on Image processing & PCB fabrication and designing due to which I have successfully completed a project based on image processing and Matlab. Recently I am elected for the technical advisor in IEEE student chapter at XX institute. I believe that this research internship will provide milestone in my career along with invaluable experiences & skills that will allow me to become a successful, innovative professional and gives assistance to accomplish my goals.
