Please suggest improvements in cover letter

Dear Sir,I was referred to you by my uncle, Mr x who is currently working at Parsons International Abu Dhabi as safety manager and my father Mr z who is also an employee of Parsons International.

My name is faizan. I am from Pakistan having Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

I have experience of carrying out quantity estimation of residential and industrial buildings using their landscape, structural and architectural drawings. I complete Quantity estimation of almost 8 drawing sets each month. My experience also includes preparing 9 construction schedules for different building projects on Primavera P6 that were executed later on site and working at Islamabad international airport (witnessing concrete pouring, steel laying etc. of slab, beams and columns).

I am very organized, reliable and self-motivated. I like being part of a team, but can also work independently. I am a fast learner and computer savvy when it comes to learning new softwares related to my field.
