Please someone help

Hello,
Can an expert who knows what I am talking about help me write the question and sentence?

Usually top 10 draft picks, stay with the team that has drafted them for the duration their contract unless they turn out to be flops.

1 Which top 10 draft pick in any nba draft was traded to a different team fastest because he turned out to be a flop?

I heard someone say the first sentence. He followed it up with something like what I have written below. I understood what he meant, but in terms of English grammar, it makes absolutely no sense. How would you write:

You can't read how he starts a game in relationship to how he finishes it. He could start a game very bad, not making any shots and finish the game making his last 10 shots. You never know what he'll do.

Thank you in advance
