Please revise sentences - dangling modifiers
Sentences must be revised so that dangling modifiers are not being used. Thanks for all your help. Just a little unsure about some of them...please offer any suggestions you may have. Are my answers correct???
1. When painting the walls, care should be taken to protect the floor from dripping brushes.
My answer: ??
2. Taking a look at the gifts, the smallest box was the one the child selected.
My answer: After taking a look at the gifts, the child selects the smallest box.
3. Having been told the qualifications for jurors and then shown a videotape, it was time for lunch.
My answer: It was time for lunch after being told the qualifications for jurors and shown a videotape.
4. Having broekn my ankle, my brother has been driving me to school.
My answer: Since I broke my ankle, my brother has been driving me to school.
5. Going for a touchdown, the quarerback lofted the ball.
My answer: The quarterback lofted the ball when he went for a touchdown.
6. As the best player on the team, we all cheered when Davidson entered the game.
My answer: As the best player on the team, Davidson entered the game, and we all cheered.
