The bar graph plots the proportion of drinking and buying habits on tea and coffee of residents in five Australian cities: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Hobart.

Overall, almost people drink tea or coffee at café shops rather than buying coffee products. Instant coffee is consumed much more than fresh coffee in all five cities.

Regarding drinking habit, going to a café outperforms making a cup of instant or fresh coffee in all four state capital cities Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Hobart except South Australia's Adelaide where residents choose both instant coffee or café shop equally. Otherwise, the consumption of instant coffee makes up around 45 to 55 per cents of urban population whose smallest percentage is found in Sydney (45%). Sydney is also the place where people like drinking fresh coffee most (approximately 43%) compared to other main cities.

Brisbane and Adelaide are two municipalities where the least amount of fresh coffee is sold with less than 35 per cents of drinking residents per each.
