Please review this?

Hi teachers. Would appreciate your view on this:

"She took off. Finally I get to see her and then we spend the whole night fighting over something that stupid."

"Why couldn't you just have an enjoyable time with her?"

- Is this grammatical?

- Should it be "have had" in the second line of dialogue?

- Does "enjoyable time" sound too formal to what would be normal to say by most?
