The effects of cutting down a lot of trees.
There are many effects coming directly from cutting down a lot of trees; however, these following effects should be taken into account.
The first effect is on the natural environment. Trees absorb carbon dioxide so cutting down a lot of trees is the cause increased carbon dioxide in the atmosphere which will contribute to global warming. To make it clear, the scientists said that there is 1.5 billion tons of carbon to be released into the atmosphere each year by cutting down too much trees. Not just that, lots of animal have been lost their habitats and food which help them to survive.
The second effect is on human-being. The oxygen, which trees give out and help people to live, has reduced. Besides, cutting down many trees reduces the soil’s ability to retain rainwater. Different movement of surface water can lead to flash floods and cause more flooding. As we know the annual floods have caused serious damage to people and property.
In brief, if human want to survive, the most importance thing we have to do now is stopping cutting down trees and planting much more plant.
