Some people say that it is possible to tell a lot about a person’s culture and character from their choice of clothes?

Do you agree or disagree?

From the past to nowadays, fashion usually changes and replaces old styles because of the change of the world. Sparkle, beautiful and colorful clothes with many styles are too familiar to us now. Therefore, some individuals said that it was able to expose a lot about the culture and character of a person when we look at their style of fashion. Personally, I agree with this idea, but I believe that other factors is equally important.

For the first reason, it is true to say that style of fashion reveals culture and character of an individual. For instance, according to scientists, the color on clothes that a person usually wears tend to show their personalities, if they like black, they are serious, cold and, mysterious or quiet, or if their favourite color is vitality color such as yellow, red, pink, blue or orange, they are so sociable, friendly, outgoing, kind or even talkative. The second reason is the style, if the dresses, skirts or beautiful clothes are the style of a girl, she is likely gentle and quite shy. In contrast, if she chooses the jacket, jeans, denim, sneakers are daily items, she often to be a strong and cool girl.

On the other hand, there is also the other factor which help to reveal the culture and character from a person, not only for clothes, but also for their habits and behaviour. When we usually communicate with an individual, we can find their personality on account of sometimes style of fashion is chosen to follow by circumstances or situations. For example, when we attend a sport game, why we must wear a shirt or trousers? That will be very silly. As a result, to my way of thinking, communicating with a person is the second to none way in order to know the culture and character of him or her. For instance, when we are in educational environment, students tend to wear uniform or casual clothes such as T-shirt, shirt, trousers or jeans to go to school. This might lead to the difficult to find out their personalities or culture. Merely when we talk with someone, we are able to really know how they are.

In conclusion, for the reasons mentioned above, I totally agree with opinion that the culture and character of a person are revealed by their choice of clothes, but I believe that the best way to know clearly them is communicating every day with them because of their habits and behaviour.
