It is argued that many people watch foreign movies in preference to locally produced ones because these films have high-quality scenes. I think that the government should sponsor local filmmakers more money to produce excellent films.
To begin with, one of the primary reasons is that these international films have the better visual depiction than domestic ones. International filmmakers often get enormous investments from their officials and businesses, which helps them attract famous artists and makes their products become masterpieces. Their films describe scenes lively with a range of special effects that make the audiences have a rich imagination about the characters, places and actions. Avatar, for example, a science fiction movie of America, is the highest-grossing movie of all time thanks to describing vibrant alien world with a unique amalgamation of 3D, motion capture, and a virtual stage, which takes viewers to a spectacular world beyond imagination.
To improve domestic movies industry, the government should invest more money into the local film production. First, film is considered as one of means to advertise the country’s culture and tourism. Therefore, a movie with a big investment produces high-quality imagines and lively sounds and actions, which impacts on the choice of tourist destinations. Second, films also warn people on the the danger of illegal behaviors through crime movies, and raise human consciousness about community, environment, and health issues. Korea, for instance, succeed in attracting tourists thanks to romantic series about high school, love, family and crime that is filmed in famous tourist spots.
In conclusion, some people like watching international films more than domestic ones because of foreign film’s visualization quality. I think that the government should support the local producers financially.
