In many places, traditional food has been replaced by international fast food. This has adverse effects on individuals and society.

My essay
It is argued that fast food from multinational companies has replaced the domestic food and it causes adverse influences on people and society. I completely agree with that.
To begin with, traditional food has been replaced by international fast food because it has a various range of foods with cheaper prices. Economic integration is becoming popular and encourage foreign businesses invest into other countries with tax incentives. As a result, international companies sell the various fast food that is not more expensive than traditional food. Moreover, local people is tired of eating traditional meals, so it is easy to be attracted by international foods with tasty and strange flavors and cheaper prices. McDonald, for instance, they entered into Vietnam market with tax incentive and served various fast foods and now they are dominating fast food market.
Furthermore, traditional food has been replaced by international fast food that has intense impacts on individuals and society. In most international fast food, it contains a lot of substances that cause serious health problems, especially obesity, for many people. In addition, the dominance of international fast food make citizens ignore their traditional food, which results in loss of cultural identity. Finally, local companies that do business related to traditional food would bankrupt because international ones is getting their market share.
In conclusion, some people argue that international fast food is alternative food for traditional one that impacts adversely on society and individuals. I totally agree with that because of health issues, loss of cultural identity, and breakdown of domestic companies.
