Essay & Composition Writing

Please review my writing task 2 . Thank you.

There is a growing demand for fresh water nowadays and this is becoming a global problem.

What are the causes and solutions?

My essay:

Nowadays, demand for clear water is becoming an increasing problem all over the world. Water pollution is considered as one of the main reasons, and some measures could be taken to address this environmental issue.

One of the primary causes of increasing the need for fresh water is that water resources are polluted, which leads to the shortage of clear water. In the rapid growth of the economy and population, a series of manufactures is constructed to meet the people’s consumption need, and these factories often release an enormous amount of waste into rivers and seas to save their production costs. As a result, these wastes seeps into groundwater and makes it become polluted. In Viet Nam, for example, a garment manufacturer released a large amount of chemical wastes into the river secretly, which polluted the local water sources and make this area not have enough fresh water for households.

There are some solutions that could be taken to tackle this global environmental problem. The government should impose strict punishments on the factories and manufacturers whose waste treatment is inappropriate. In addition, it is necessary to propaganda for industry employers about the importance of protecting groundwater as well as the danger of lacking fresh water to enhance their awareness. Finally, the government should invest in researching more effective solutions to handle industrial waste properly.

In conclusion, water pollution is one of the main causes for the increasing demand of pure water in globe and the government should implement punishments seriously on the violating industries, spontaneously suggest waste disposal methods and enhance business consciousness about the current problems.
