It is supposed that a nation can be reflected through advertising campaigns. I totally agree with this viewpoint and give some explanation to clarify followed in this essay.
On the one hand, promoting the image of a country can show the world of services provided in the host country. First, taking advantage of advertising channels to show tourist attraction, friends the world over opens their mind about the beauty of a country. For instance, Vinh Ha Long –recognized in one in seven wonders of the world which is become familiar with the foreign viewers because of consistently airing in the advertisement. Second, the transit system in a nation also is showed through the display and content of the advertisement. Given that Singapore is renowned for a liable country with well- organized road systems and have no bottlenecks during peak hours.
On the other hand, commercials are instrumental in informing others parts of the worlds of what a country has to offer in cultural term and the uniqueness of cuisine. The catchy image of cultural practices will capture the viewer’s attention and thus it represents the living of the host communities. Based on the advertisement industry, family-oriented life in Vietnamese lifestyle is the norm whereas the more ego-oriented living is in the United States. Last but not least, advertisement proves to be useful to get people to know about culinary art. The most common staple dishes I watched a lot about western food is ready-to-eat meals such as pasta, pizza and so on that is opposite to Vietnam of whom is rice.
In conclusion, a lot of information about a country is revealed in commercials in cultural term and places. Through an advertisement, people can gain deeper insight into a nation.
