The chart shows the percentage of women and men in one Asian country who passed when they took their driving test between 1980 and 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart compares the proportion of females and males who completed their driving license in one Asian nation from 1980 to 2010.

Overall, the percentages of both genders passing their driving course were low in the first 20 years, and between 2000 and 2010, it gradually rose. It is also noticeable that the figure for women was higher than that of men over the given period.

In the first year, the proportion of women who had driving licenses was about 48% lowest in 1980. In the next 20 years, the number of women who passed the driving test increased significantly and reached a peak of nearly 69%. Then it witnessed a slight decrease of 5% in the last year.

Regarding men, a similar pattern was seen in the percentage of men who got drive's licenses between 1980 to 2000, it peaked at nearly 50% and then maintained stability this number to 2010.
