The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.

The bar chart provides information on the percentage of Australian males and females(sorted into categories according to their age)who exercised regularly.

Overall, more than half of men in their 15 to24 had more regular physical activities in comparison to women. However, female groups, who were older than 24 contributed more to regular exercising compared to men of the same age.

52.8% of (15 to24years old)men exercise regularly, while this number decreased significantly to 42.2%in men who were in their(25to34) and 39.5% in the next group. A gradual but steady increase can be observed in older groups. The percentage rose by 4.6% in the 45 to 54 group and continued to 45.1%in the 55 to 64 years category. Approximately 47 in 100 men who were 65 or over, exercised regularly.

Women used to exercise less than men by 5.1% in(15 to24) age group.Their portion climbed steadily to 48.9%,52.5%, and 53.3%in females who were (25 to 34),(35to 44),and(45 to54) respectively.In (55 to64) age group numbers dipped slightly by 0.3% and dramatically fell again to 47.1%in females who were 65 or above.
