The monthly price of exported rice from ThaiLand and VietNam from 2012 to 2015 (Million dollars per tons).

The line charts illustrate the cost of rice exported between Thailand and VietNam on a monthly basis over a period of 4 years (2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015).

Overall, the price of exported rice in Vietnam was cheaper than Thailand during the period shown. It is also noticeable that the figures for the cost of rice both countries in 2012 had the highest.

In 2012, Vietnam and Thailand had the highest price for 12 months each in comparison to 3 other years with the average of 12 months around 150 and 325 dollars per ton respectively. The high price was continuing to 2013. However, the amount of money to buy rice from Thailand was decrease by 100 dollars although there was an slightly increase in February, while the value of Vietnam rice rose to 120 dollars.

In 2014, the cost of rice exported in Vietnam fluctuated at around 100 dollars per ton, there was also seen a variation in Thailand from 150 in January to approximately 100 dollars per ton. In 2015, both figures for Thailand and Vietnam rose by 30 dollars per ton each during 12 months.
