Please review my TOIEC essay

TOPIC: Some people want to meet each other in person to communicate while others want to telephone instead of face-to-face communication. Which of these communication methods do you prefer?

My Essay:

Some people want to meet in person to communicate while others prefer talking by telephone. In my view, I believe communicating face to face is better because of the following reasons.

First, meeting in person to communicate helps us understand our ideas and opinions each other more clearly according to psychologists. When talking by telephones, it is quite hard to distinguish accents and identify the emotions of our co-workers and clients. For example, most companies usually organize face to face meetings unless if there are not pandemics such as COVID – 19.

Second, I think that having conservations by phones is interrupted more constantly than meeting each other in person to communicate. Because communicating by phones can be interrupted by a weak signal line, out of battery, a broken SIM card, limited time and out of money in our SIM account. While communicating face to face help us have conservations more comfortably.

Third, I believe that having direct conservations make our relationships more strengthened. For example, when I worked as a real estate broker, I was trained that I should make an appointment with my potential customers to have lunch or go for coffee in order to make clients and me understand each other more clearly.

Although, meeting in person to communicate has a lot of advantages but it is not suitable forpeople who are too busy. So, talking by phone is a good idea for them because it saves a lot of their time and money. Moreover, if we need to talk with our friends, clients or colleagues, urgently communicating by cellphones is definitely a great solution. Also, during COVID – 19 pandemic, more and more people choose to have conservation by phones because it is safer although it is less efficient than having direct conservations.

In conclusion, I prefer to communicate face to face because of the above reasons. However, talking by telephones is a suitable way for people who do not have much free time.
