Many manufactured food and drink products contain high levels of sugar, which causes many health problems. Sugary products should be made more expensive to encourage people to consume less sugar.

It is argued that people's health has suffered from many issues because of a huge amount of sugary consumption of drinks as well as food. Some individuals believe that the prices of these products must be higher in order to reduce consumers. This essay agrees with their idea because it makes our life better and increases awareness of everyone about healthcare.

If companies increase the prices of these kinds of products, the consumption will be inclined. The less consumption we get the fewer levels of sugar in our body. This means people can restrict to get many diseases and it also helps us to have a healthier body. For example, in Vietnam, because of the low price of cigarettes, almost 70% of residents smoke them which leads to a huge proportion of people who suffer from lung cancer.

The expensive prices also educate and make people consider the products that they will buy. Because before people spend a big amount of money on something, they tend to think about the value of it and whether it is worth for them to buy. For example, experts had an experiment that between a cheap and an expensive food stall, people in the former only chose one and immediately paid for it, while most people in the other stall would look at the information on product's packaging to check ingredients, introductions, expiry date before they bought.

In conclusion, this essay acknowledges that food and drink products that contain high levels of sugar are necessary to be made more expensive because it helps more and more people stay healthier and be more considerable.
