Please review my task 2 essay

Topic: Some people think that everyone has the right to have access to university education and that governments should make it free for all students no matter what financial background they have. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion.

Due to the exorbitant cost of higher education and the fact that it is not affordable for everyone, some argue that colleges should be free for everyone, regardless of their background. Offering free university education to everyone, in my view, would be problematic and should instead be should only be provided to specific individuals.

Having a free university education for everyone will put a tremendous financial strain on a country. Universities would have no revenue from fees and would have to depend only on government support. This entails diverting funding from other much-needed areas, such as the healthcare system, to finance colleges. For the majority of countries, especially developing and underdeveloped ones, this way would not be a financially viable option.

Another factor to consider is that being entitled to free higher education would entice many people to attend university whether or not they were interested. In other words, rather than getting a job, some young people might choose to pursue a degree in which they would merely put in a half-hearted effort. Not only would this be a waste of money, but it would also be a waste of human resources.

Finally, the best solution would be to keep university fees while providing certain free spots to talented kids from low-income households. This would guarantee those talented and intelligent students who could not afford higher education would still be educated and trained. As a result, society would profit from the proper training of the appropriate individuals, and valuable resources would be used effectively.

In conclusion, although eliminating university education fees is not feasible for most nations, providing accessible seats to specific students with limited financial resources is a much better use of a country's resources.
