The bar graph below represents data about the clubs joined by people of two different age groups at a leisure center in a small city.
The bar chart compares two different age groups (20-30) versus (45-65) in terms of the number of participants in several clubs, namely historical, archaeology, fitness, arts and crafts, social, and others.
Overall, the younger age group was significantly more involved in various societies than the 45-65 -year-olds. Arts and crafts and other clubs were popular with the younger group (20-30). However, the majority of the elder aged 45-65 took part in the historical club as a membership.
In detail, the biggest difference between those was in other clubs, as the number of members aging 20-30 being roughly sixfold higher than their 45-65 aged counterparts. This was followed by the discrepancy in the arts and crafts club, with 60 adults from 20 to 30 taking part in compared to only 20 elder members. There was a similar favorite in both groups when it comes to the number of members in fitness and social clubs, although there were slightly fewer older people.
By contrast, the pattern was reversed for the historical society, as the older age group had significantly twice as many participants as the 20-30-year-olds. Regarding archaeology, membership was equal for both groups.
