My essay:

I had a lot of beautiful memories during my childhood. One of the most remarkable childhood memories for me is the first time I travel. I had a chance to travel when I was in grade 2, my father promised me that he would take me to Vung Tau city if I obtained good academic result, and I did it. A trip to Vung Tau city with my family is my unforgettable memory.

Before going to that city, my family prepared very carefully. That night, I could not sleep because I was so excited. In the early morning, we started a trip to Vung Tau city. When we came to that place, I was impressed by the beauty of the city. But we had to take a short rest and have breakfast in the four-start restaurant to have the energy to discover this city. On the first day, we visited Thich Ca Phat Da pagoda where is one of the most famous pagodas in Vietnam. I was quite interested in the beauty of its architecture. Then we came to Da Xanh lake, I have never seen such a beautiful lake like this landscape. I remembered that I nearly jumped out of the boat for I wanted to catch a fish. On the next day, we visited the Vung Tau lighthouse which is one of the symbols of Vung Tau city. Vung Tau lighthouse is a good place to enjoy a view of the city. Next, we came to the White Rabbit park. We did so many entertainment activities until we felt satisfied. After that, we came to the night food market to enjoy local specialties such as Banh Xeo, Banh Khot, and some other seafood. The final day is the best day of the trip, we went to Long Hai beach which is one of the most beautiful beaches in Vung Tau. We played volleyball, made some small sandcastles together. I still remembered that when we lied on the sand and enjoyed the sunset.

Afterward, it is time for us to say goodbye to Vung Tau City. We felt very tired when we went home. Anyway, my first travel was very memorable for we all did some fun things. Not only did I have more experience from this trip but also it made our family was more close.
