Last 8 years I have spend in Global HQ leading international projects. Over the time I have accumulated wealth of strategic management experience, strengthened analytical and problem solving skills. Having strong experience in Marketing Research, my ambition is to broaden horizons of my expertise to other areas of business such as strategic marketing and business management.My next step forward will include a move to a strategic marketing function with an objective to get closer to the business and position myself for further career development. I believe that I have fundamental personal and professional strengths to meet my career objectives.After reviewing several EMBA Programme I believe that EMBA in XXX will most fully suit my needs for professional and personal skills development. Amongst other assets of the Programme I was pleased to see the emphasis that the Programme puts on the soft skills development, which are vital for leadership roles.I believe that I will complement well the class and have a lot to share from professional and personal side. Personally I am enthusiastic and opened minded person, who likes a good joke. Essay: How my subordinate perceives me?

I have been working with a subordinate for a couple of years and would like to use this opportunity share how he perceives me.
I think that my subordinate considers me an open minded and easy going person, honest and respectful.
He would mention that in the beginning of his assignment I set a clear strategic direction in which he should be developing both his hard and soft skills.
Furthermore he would recall me being quite open in giving constructive and actionable feedback during our quarterly performance review meetings.
My subordinate would appreciate coaching, which helped him to grasp fundamental skills needed for his role, my patience in explaining complex matters and true satisfaction when I saw him progressing. He would describe me as a hard worker who tries to solve the problem himself if time allows instead of delegating it directly to him. My subordinate would appreciate high degree of freedom in his projects. He asked me for an opportunity to have increased freedom and responsibility and I have supported his intention.
He would say that I am kind hearted and friendly and mention that I am setting clear focus for his work thus avoiding additional pressure coming from secondary projects.
My subordinate would receive positive feedback when I see that he exceeds my expectations by completing a project that requires him to get out of his zone of comfort. Also I find it fruitful to cheer him upon flawless completion of regular duties. At the same time when he is underperforming he will see me speaking in a more stern voice outlining flaws of his task and directions to improve. My management style is adaptive therefore my subordinate will see me soft or harsh depending on his attitude and performance.
We make good team and he truly respects me for my skills, knowledge and respectful attitude. We form a symbiosis: I am energizing and leading him to achieving his professional goals and he frees up my time to pursue strategic business targets.
