My paragraph:

These days, there are more and more people living and working in cities. Despite many benefits of life in cities, there are also some drawbacks that people living in urban areas have to be faced with. First, the standard of living and salaries in large cities are pretty high; however, the cost of living is also extremely high. Consequently, it is difficult for people who don't have a good financial standing to pay for it. Therefore, it is understandable that many people living in large cities still live below the poverty line. Second, the numerous number of people traveling at the same time causes several traffic issues, especially the most annoying problem- traffic congestion. It can cause unpredictable delay in flights, appointments or work. Furthermore, the exhaust fumes from vehicles and factories could lead to air pollution, which is the cause for deadly respiratory diseases. Last, the large number of people in cities leads to a huge demand for houses and lands. As a result, the prices of property and houses are increasing dramatically thereby increasing the rate of homelessness. In conclusion, although living in cities has many advantages, there are still several downside city dwellers have to cope with to live in cities.
