Topic: In about 140 words, write a paragraph about the following topic: “Do you like living in the city or in the country? Why?”

My paragraph:

In my view, I prefer the life in the city to that in the country because of several reasons. First of all, living in the city is much more fascinating compared to that in the rural area. There are various places of entertainment I can choose such as cinemas, theaters, museum, theme parks, which are match my personal interest but not popular in countryside. Second, most of the big corporations with well-paid jobs are located in big cities; therefore, it is a huge advantage of employment opportunities when you have a house in the city center. Third, the convenience is another point in its favor. The existence of modern facilities help people reduce the workloads and make life much more easier. For instance, I can use a heater to warm my house or use the dishwasher and washing machine instead of doing it by myself. Fourth, most services in urban areas are a lot more modern compared to which in the country, especially the health service. With the modern medical devices, effective treatments and professional doctors, lives of many people are saved. Finally, I love the hustle and bustle of the urban area. Although most people hate the noise, the sounds of voices, horns, radio, street cries have gone deep into my heart and mind. In conclusion, with the various benefits of life in the city, I want to live and work there.
