Please Review my Motivational Letter for studying a semester in the US....

I'm from Italy (Milan) and i've been selected from my university for spending a semester in an American Universuty as an ISEP student (International Student Exchange Program).

Could you please review and make eventual correptions to my motivational letter???

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to apply for the opportunity to study the second semester 07/08 in your University.

As soon as I’ve been successfully selected from my University for the ISEP exchange program, the first choice, between the 150 American Universities available for the program, was the San Diego State University.

I have always endeavored to upgrade my education in the field of business. At the age of eighteen years I have spent two months at UCLA for a summer course of Microeconomics. One year later I have studied Business English at the University of Cambridge.

This year, instead, i’ve worked one month in the company Zanett IT in New York.

The opportunity to study a semester at an American University is really important to me. I am eager to experience the creativity, independence, and energy that Americans put forward into their studies and work. I am confident that I will not only important academic matters but also learn about how to approach Management and Business from a different perspective. Moreover, American training is highly prized in all regions of the world.

In my opinion, education in business and management is no more a secluded activity of perusing scores of tomes and be magically adequated with all the skills of conducting yourself in business ambience. In my opinion, training in business is like training into way of life, of appreciating the international symbiosis it generates, of understanding the nonchalance of different cultures, of recognizing the subtelities of human interactions. The San Diego State University is apt at providing very fulfillingly each of the aspects of a perfect business education - its international community of students would provide the right pathos that need to be imbued in business education, its excellent standard of education would equip me with best artifices of knowledge and would also be a fulfillment of a dream, I had seen long enough to be inseperable from me - To nurture myself into a wholesome, passionate and empathetic business professional.

On my personal side, I have always believed that studying all the day isn’t good since you isolate yourself losing social relationships. A Latin philosopher said “Mens sana in corpore sano”, infact, during all my life I have experienced many sports and hobbies: Golf ,Soccer, Tennis, Basket, Sailing, Climbing, Swimming, Martial Arts and Voluntary service.
