Letter Writing
Please review my motivation letter for IT internship, I've had to finish it a week ago :(
Bla, bla, bla
With this letter I would like to explain my motivation for an internship at your company.
I graduated from Technical University of Moldova; Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics Faculty in July 2007 where I obtained a degree in Informational Technologies.
I enjoy Programming because I considered it as it were an intellectual game; I like this kind of quizzes. And there is also the fascinating possibility to work from anywhere as I like very much to travel
The opportunity to work within several foreign offshore companies, with complete different environments and cultures confirmed my decision to work abroad. As I am interested in other countries, people and the way they are doing business.
After having researched several suitable companies, I believe that Xcompany is the perfect choice suiting my professional projects and will provide me the knowledge and confidence to realize my dreams. Xcompany clearly matches with my wishes and vision being a young, ambitious and solid company based on fundamental values like innovation, client orientation and transparency.
I am deeply convinced that my IT experience will be a valorous asset as I feet almost all of your requirements.
At the French company "FrenchCompany" I have worked in .NET framework using visual studio and MS SQL Server, at a business application for a network of optic's shops. In some aspects it was very similar to an ERP application. This work was very challenging because of the projects frequently changing requirements and strategies, sometimes extraordinary client requests and the most different personalities, time pressing and two weeks iteration deadlines.
By the other hand I've also worked at the Britain Company "BritainCompany" as a java, game developer. My area of work have included developing interfaces, game play, map data, communicating with game specifiers, writing reports and documentation. In these and in all of his endeavors, I've demonstrated creativity, adaptability, and abundant enthusiasm having an amazing impact on both the game appearance and functional side.
Regarding some other preferences which I actually don't fit, like DB/2, AS/400, Visual Basic as well as acquaintance to insurance specific software, I possess a great thirst for knowledge and learning everything new, being inspired by the subject's complexity and beauty.
Additionally, I learned the values of teamwork and commitment as well as working hard and focus on given goals. The ability to structure the time and activities into my schedule while working on my own helped me to handle successfully deadlines and is an argument that my employment wouldn't need extended supervision.
Moreover, I have always endeavored to upgrade my education in the field of business and management, Xcompany is built on a strong company culture based on an ethical business conduct with guiding principles like strong commitments to integrity, fairness, quality, and excellence.
Due to my employment in different companies and work experience with the most different personalities, I can offer my extended language skills, and my strong will to work closely with clients. Furthermore, I am highly motivated to work in another country and in another language as I am ambitious to learn more every day. Speaking fluently two of Latin languages I find it possible to learn in a very short time Portuguese. (At school I learned Romanian in a half year and now I consider it my native language). By the way, It was amazing to discover that I can understand almost everything reading the information from your official website, just question of suffixes.
