Letter of Motivation

Admission in Master Degree
I am submitting this document in support of my application for acceptance into your M.Sc. program in Information and Automation Engineering.
On the verge of completing Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Kalol Institute of Technology & Research Centre affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, I look forward to pursue graduate study to refine my knowledge and skills in my area of interest which is in the field of Electronics. I intend to pursue M.Sc degree in order to reach my goal of becoming a successful Automation Engineer.
Now a Days Education Is life long Ongoing Process and I want to part Of It I believe education is never complete till one dies. It is a continuing process from the minute we are born till we die. Continuous progress is the key to life. And for progress, knowledge and proper guidance are the essentials. I am sure, the quality knowledge and impeccable guidance at the Bremen University Of Applied Science will mould me to be in the learning mode all my life opening the way for constant growth as a person and as a professional.
Madness towards machines is one of my innate characteristic. I had broken many toys in intend to observe inner mechanism. This curiosity lead me to take part in Science fair during my school time. I used to make small working projects under the guidance of the teacher, which clarify the basic working principals.
My undergraduate studies have given me a comprehensive exposure to the core areas of Electronics and a strong conceptual understanding of the same. I have passed Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) Examination. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in Engineering and Technology. GATE is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven IIT's. Furthermore I have started training in the field of Industrial Automation, which contains Programmable logic controllers (PLC), Supervisory control & Data acquisition (SCADA), Variable speed drivers & Motors, Panel designing & Auto-cad and Human-machine interface (HMI).
I have good knowledge in Simulation and Design Tools have also design several projects like water level indicator and FM Transmitter. I am also familiar with interfacing of microcontroller with external memory and serial communication with devices like GPS(Global Positioning system) & GSM(Global System for Mobile). GEO-Fencing and Temperature controller that I have made using Microcontroller. Apart from electronics I have designed Robot for robowar competition in college using high torque motor and pulley-belt drive for lifting purpose.
My knowledge and technical skills in the field of Electronics would be more sharpened if I am given a chance to pursue Master’s in your esteemed University. In these three and half years of study, I have maintained an approach of expending independent effort in all my endeavors. Learning by myself and sharing my knowledge with others has been most worthwhile, when comprehending a concept.
A natural aptitude for mathematics, a sense of logic, analytical ability, capacity for diligent work and high academic credentials encourage me to study further in One Of the most advanced nation of the world brighten my future. As Johann Wolfgang von Goethe has rightly said, “I hate Every Thing That Merely instruct me without augmentation or directly invigorating my activity”, So I Love to pursue master Degree in Your University Because It will Invigorating my knowledge and Skills I wish to take the opportunity of securing an M.Sc Degree in Information and Automation and gain good experience before I avail the opportunity of serving my country and people because one person’s life influences lives of a large number of people.
I feel that graduate study at your University will be the most logical extension of my academic pursuits and a major step towards achievement of my objectives. The distinguished faculty and excellent facilities at your university make its graduate program ideally suited to fulfill my professional goals. My desire to pursue further studies in Germany is because it has the most dynamic atmosphere, which will shape me to be a thinker and a learner. The flexibility of the curriculum will give me the broad-based education that I need to widen the scope of my knowledge and skills.
The world is literally becoming a global village where opportunities for work are erasing physical boundaries. With the cyberspace connections, Indian knowledge workers are increasingly contributing to the global work force. The international education will give me the training and the caliber to meet the global clients.
